Food for Mzansi is excited to launch its brand-new podcast “Sisters without shame” under its health platform Health For Mzansi. Health for Mzansi is a platform that gives tips and tricks that assist in improving health. The podcast aims to unpack health issues, and in each episode, the team is joined by a health professional for health advice.

The podcast is described as a “brand-new, no-holds-barred podcast dealing with all those awkward health situations”.

Quote This Women+ fundraising campaign

Quote This Woman+ is seeking support in raising funds. The funds will be used to assist the organisation to continue expanding its community of female experts ensuring that more women+ voices and narratives are heard. The non-profit organisation has set a goal to raise R55 000 in 30 days. Help QTW+ reach their target by donating here.

 

Media Hack Collective introduces brand new data publication

The Media Hack Collective is excited to introduce its brand-new independent publication, The Outlier. The Outlier is a data journalism publication that specialises in analysing and visualising data. The publication aims to make important matters or issues more useful and understandable to readers by making use of data analysis, programming, and design to break down complex information.

Viewfinder collaborates with Carte Blanche in the fight against police brutality

Viewfinder is dedicated to investigating police criminality with the aim to expose a pattern of failures and cover-ups within police disciplinary processes. Viewfinder has produced a segment on police disciplinary processes that aired on the award-winning journalism TV program, Carte Blache on Sunday, 8th August 2021. The segment highlights police brutality and the failure of discipline management in South Africa.

 

SAMIP Participants celebrate Women’s Day

Quote This Woman+ and gsport both celebrated Women’s Day honoring phenomenal women. 

QTW+ published a list of 24 women experts, challenging the media to give women the mic for equal representation of women voices in the industry.

gsport hosted its first #TwitterSpaces conversation in celebration of the 16 gsport awards finalists.

 

Igunundu launches innovative e-edition

Publisher of Bayeda News and UBukhosi News, Igunundu, has been successful at touching the very end of media consumers in rural and semi-rural areas and has now launched a branded PressReader platform that allows consumers to receive content in different digital versions through mobile and web applications.
